What are the tasks of an Executive Assistant?

An Executive Assistant supports the CEO in his day-to-day business: He prepares incoming information, creates and designs presentations and takes care of the preparation and follow-up of meetings. The Executive Assistant acts as the CEO’s “right-hand man”, taking care of coordination and organisational tasks, maintaining contacts and preparing decisions.

Requirements for an Executive Assistant

A friendly and confident appearance is a must for the Executive Assistant, as is a very high level of communication and organisational talent. The Executive Assistant is characterized by independent and goal-oriented work, as well as a high level of commitment and flexibility. Good written and spoken English skills are required. You should also have successfully completed a degree in business administration or a comparable apprenticeship. Ideally, the Executive Assistant should have several years of professional experience.
