What are the tasks of a PR manager?

A PR manager ensures a positive public perception of the company. He is therefore responsible for all press and public relations activities and the coordination of PR campaigns. In addition to writing press releases and organising press conferences, he is often responsible for placing advertisements on the Internet, radio or TV. He acts as a communication interface between companies and the corresponding target media.

Requirements for a PR manager

A PR Manager should have a degree in journalism / communication or a comparable education and ideally several years of professional experience in a PR department. Knowledge of the media landscape and experience in strategic communication planning are also relevant. Very good written and verbal skills and a very good command of spoken and written English are essential for this profession.
