Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • You will be responsible for projects within automation, metrics for cloud technologies and other areas
  • Technical solutions are developed by you
  • With your extensive experience, you will advise your colleagues on critical processes and procedures, including best practices for cloud deployments
  • You defuse complex technical problems in the cloud environment and in information systems with flying colours
  • Reusable frameworks are created and implemented by you in order to be able to maintain the infrastructure as code and to increase the acceptance

Your Profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable apprenticeship
  • You have already relevant experience with cloud technologies like Azure / AWS / OpenStack / Google Cloud
  • Handling the most common cloud standards (e.g. message queues, CDNs, functions, storage types, cloud databases, autoscale, monitoring, HA, service mesh, API gateways, containers and their orchestration) is no problem for you
  • You act as Linux administrator (bash / sh, systemd, init, grub, cron etc.)
  • You would like to bring your experience with sendmail, bind9, openldap, openvpn, pam, apache, k8s, Java, DHCP in a new context
  • You organize the configuration for Linux (e.g. Chief, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Ideally, you are already enthusiastic about medical technology
  • You are at least fluent in English and ideally also German or Russian
