Sales and Business Development Executive (m/w)

Our US client is a startup and leader providing 3D machine vision solutions for manufacturing environments with complex measurement challenges – where measuring in microns within microseconds is mission critical. We are now looking for an experienced Sales Executive (m/f) shaking up the German and European market.

Your tasks:

  • You account manage multiple German Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 companies from first contact through product sales and commissioning
  • You develop and guide the leading Go-to-market strategy for the European market including competitive positioning and pricing
  • The German sales and business development team will be grown and trained by you
  • In your career you inspired your team with your strategies and best practices and you will bring them into this new environment
  • Your responsibility also lies in the closing of deals and assuring customer satisfaction

Your profile:

  • You provide several years of professional technical sales experience selling automation products into the automotive industry with a successful leadership track record
  • Your extensive experience and broad automotive, OEM and Tier 1 network enable quick and effective action promoting and introducing the company’s products
  • Your clear understanding of the challenges in the automotive sector and your technical background allows you to be conversant in industrial automation elements: PLCs, Robots, Machine Vision, Software, IoT
  • You show best results when working independently, but you are also a real team player, who drives others with his motivating personality
  • Customer problems are a no-go for you, so as a matter of course you like to work closely with the technical team to solve them
  • Your networking, communication, organization and analysis skills are highly developed and have already inspired your previous employers
  • As a patient listener and note taker you enjoy engaging with customers in consultative sales
  • Your experience with the operation and sales of adhesive dispensing equipment or Machine Vision equipment or Robots will be an ideal background
  • It gives you pleasure to establish a new company and build a successful team
  • You speak and write German and English fluently
