Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer in North America to help build the next generation of their brand-new cloud offering.

As a leading log management system, our client’s products enable efficient log management and analysis for DevOps, security, operations, and compliance. The software serves as a central instance for any log files from servers, switches, firewalls, you name it. On top, the software offers both powerful search and analysis tools.

Starting off as an open-source solution, our client now offers open-source, an enterprise solution, and the new cloud product. Over 50,000 installations worldwide attest the trust of both the open-source community and enterprise customers.

Companies Tech Stack: AWS, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Vault

Your responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, monitor, operate and own a new scalable cloud-native log management system in AWS
  • Work closely with engineering and product management to optimize the software running on the cloud and assist with any infrastructure issues
  • Utilize state of the art tools for automation, monitoring, and management of cloud systems

Your profile 

Must haves

  • Professional experience with IaC or configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet.
  • Professional experience with the development and operation of highly available and scalable cloud infrastructures.
  • Professional experience with distributed version control systems (Git, Mercurial or comparable).
  • Deep Linux experience
  • Openness for on-call rotation

  • Mentoring experience
  • Hands-on experience with a log management software
