Are you ready to lead a cutting-edge Energy Blockchain SaaS start-up into the future? Our client is looking for an innovative and dynamic CEO (m/f/d) to drive their vision, revolutionize the energy industry, and scale their state-of-the-art energy certification solution.
Our client develops a blockchain-based solution to trace back the origin of energy. Specifically, they transform certifications of environmental qualities in relation to the production, transport, and storage of energy (or other commodities in the future) into fungible digital certificates which can then be traded and traced all along the chain of transaction.
To become the market leader in Europe for the management of environmental, social, and governance certificates they are looking for a CEO to join the team in Paris and scale their SaaS solution. In this role, you will be the key driving force to establish their sales and marketing structure, drive active business development, represent the company externally on a European level, and lead them through the next financing round.
Your Mission
- Develop and implement an international business strategy
- Coordinate and supervise the operational and financial management
- Establish the company's sales and marketing structure
- Identify, access, and penetrate new markets, including active business development
- Represent the company externally, with the authorities (especially at the European level) with customers and partners, at trade fairs, and within relevant networks
- Lead the next financing round, participate in pitch events, and engage in discussions with potential investors
Your Profile
- You have an IT, technical, or business education background
- You have extensive professional experience in a managerial position, experience in building a start-up and leading companies through growth phases
- You have several years of experience and demonstrable successes in business development
- You have a strong network in the energy industry, ideally the European Commission and other relevant regulatory agencies
- You are negotiating both in English and French on a business professional level
